Beale Number Calculator
This beale calculator is used to used to estimate the power output of a stirling engine design.
Beale Number Formula:
Beale number is a parameter that characterizes the performance of Stirling engines. The Beale number can be defined in terms of a Stirling engines operating parameters:
Bn =
Where,
Bn - beale number
WO - engine power output in watts
P - average gas pressure in kPa
V - piston swept volume in m3
f - engine cycle frequency in Hz
Beale number are in the range 0.11 to 0.15. where a larger number indicates higher performance.
